D3O makes a material that’s super impact resistant and helps combat vibration and fatigue. They have different formulations that are engineered for many uses such as:

  • Extreme sport and motorcycle body protection (gloves, armor, knee/elbow pads)
  • Helmets & mouthguards (e.g. for American football & ice hockey)
  • Industrial workwear protection (e.g. construction)
  • Electronics (smartphones, laptops)
  • Military & law enforcement (like tactical helmets)

There are 5 groups of D3O materials from Set Foams to Formable Elastomers, which to be honest, I have no clue as to what they are… but if you’re on the market for some kind of impact protection, check out their website to find products that use this stuff!
