Family Zone Kids Activities & A Place To Chill @Anime NYC 2026

For the first time ever, Anime NYC and Scholastic have teamed up to create a dedicated space for children. This Family Zone has:

  • The Cozy Manga Reading Corner mini library with bean bag seats
  • Workshops and Anytime Activities with arts & crafts tables for coloring and origami
  • Free Play area with maps, play tubes and tents
  • Movement area with a stage for activities like cosplay yoga, dance parades and other fun things

There are scheduled daily activities for kids’ entertainment and special guests like Captain Underpants and graphic novel authors.

Aside from the Ito En tea lounge that offers a quiet space, Family Zone offers a kid-friendly area that also provides peace from the general chaos of the convention.
