A washlet is a magical device that keeps your butt (and toilet seat/bowl) clean and sanitary. It basically replaces toilet paper with a stream of water for cleansing & air for drying.

Toto showed 3 different models, starting with:

Washlet T1SW32491#01 – Costco Exclusive (MSRP US$399)

  • Retracting (and self cleaning) wand for water streams
  • Adjustable wand position
  • Adjustable water pressure (and temperature)
  • Air dryer
  • Heated seat
  • Deodorizer (fan with charcoal filter)
  • Soft closing lid (no slamming)
  • Pre-mist (to minimize crap from sticking)
  • Wall-mountable remote control (controls on seat as backup)

Washlet KS6 (MSRP US$1386)
Has everything in the Costco model plus:

  • Unlimited warm water (instantaneous water heater)
  • Wand – dual action oscillation & pulsation
  • Ewater+ for wand cleaning (electrolyzed water, bleach-like effect but not harmful)
  • Ambient nightlight
  • Energy-saving mode

Washlet S7A flagship (MSRP US$1826)
Has everything from the above models plus:

  • Wand – personalize your own settings
  • Store personalized settings (up to 4 users)
  • Auto open/close lid
  • Dual nightlights (inside and outside bowl)

The water, air dryer and seats are all temperature adjustable, with a lot more levels, adjustment possibilities and more advanced systems used with higher-end models.

These washlets will change your mindset of what it means to take a dump – a refreshing activity with a happy ending! 🙂
