Bandai Hobby have loads of new Pokemon model kits for 2025. It’s not ready-made stuff like collectible figures; the fun is in piecing it all together yourself!
For Pokemon kits, the Quick! models for beginners are the easiest to build, while the Evolution sets are more involved and take longer.
In comparison, the Yu-Gi-Oh! model kits take an experienced hand to assemble and have many pieces. The end results are oh-so-satisfying to behold and are well worth the effort.
The Dinosaur models have fossil bones hidden underneath, so you can choose to display them or keep hidden under the skin – or do a hybrid of both.
Finally, the 30 Minutes lines are Bandai Hobby’s own creations of figures that should take about 30 minutes to build. They include:
- 30 Minutes Missions: Mech fighters
- 30 Minutes Fantasy: Medieval characters like knights, archers and priests
- 30 Minutes Sisters: SymbioSIS TERminal digital life forms
The fun doesn’t stop there. Characters can be upgraded – for example, a knight in your army can change “jobs” and turn into a paladin or a holy knight. To do this, an upgrade pack with appropriate armor and weapons enhancements are added.
These figures have highly maneuverable joints with near-realistic poseability. I really like the idea of these original lines.
