HyperX is is adding two new headsets for May 2023 in the form of Cloud III, a wired gaming headset for PCs and consoles and the Cirro Buds Pro, true wireless earbuds that connect via Bluetooth (for gaming on smartphones.)

The Cloud III has gone through a re-design, both inside and out. The new curvy design is much more sexy around the earcups (less clinical than the Cloud II) and the headband also looks well built without any visible stitching. Comfort is improved all around for longer gaming sessions with more foam under the headband and earcups.

The new 53mm driver is angled towards the listener’s ears and designed for better 3D audio. The mic sounds better too (letting in higher voice frequencies for clarity), with an internal metal mesh pop filter. The headset is cable connected via USB-A, USB-C or 3.5mm with MSRP $99.99 US, in red or black.

HyperX Cirro Buds Pro colors

The Cirro Buds Pro uses the latest Bluetooth version 5.2, which has LE mode for conserving energy for longer battery life. The earbuds themselves will last up to 7 hours, with an additional 28 hours of charge when placed in the charging case. Total battery life: 35 hours.

It also offers hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and an ambient sound mode when you want to hear your surroundings. MSRP $79.99 US, in black, blue or tan.

The Cloud III gaming headset offers signature comfort and an immersive in-game audio experience with re-engineered 53mm angled drivers and lifetime activation of DTS® Headphone:X®1 for accurate 3D audio spatialization. Following up on the tremendous success of Cloud II introduced back in 2015, HyperX has improved all aspects of the product to bring the most comfortable and superb sounding gaming headset on the market.
