The Astell & Kern Kann Cube upgrades the 1st gen Kann with a beefier headphone amp and a larger battery (7,400 mAh) with playback up to 9 hours. With 3 selectable gain levels, you can power even the hard-to-drive planar magnetic type headphones.
Another upgrade is the addition of music streaming services. The most popular ones are already installed like Qobuz, Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, and Apple music – but you can install others too if you want. There are currently 26 streaming services supported.
There’s full MQA support that works on both local and streaming files. An XLR output lets you use the Kann Cube as a source for your home audio system.
Astell & Kern at Last Year’s CanJam 2019
The SA700 is a modern take on the AK120 with dual DACs, Wi-Fi connectivity and streaming services. It has LED lights that indicate the quality of the file being played, removing the need to hunt around for that info.
The T9iE earbuds are an update to the previous T8iE and are tuned to match the sound signature of Astell & Kern players. These are made in collaboration with Beyerdynamic.
