Movo’s New Photo Lenses for your Smartphone (Techfluence 2021)

Movo is a California based company that make quality, affordable gear for content creators. Just announced are three new SPL series smartphone lens with varying focal lengths including:

Movo SPL Lens series
  • SPL-FE Super Fisheye Lens: 238-degree view
  • SPL-TELE Telephoto Lens: 3X zoom perspective
  • SPL-WA Wide Angle Lens: 18-mm perspective
  • MSRP: $39.95 each

They use a clip-on design, so they’re super simple to attach quickly to any smartphone.

Movo MC-2000 Wireless Conference Mic

Also announced is the Movo MC2000 Wireless USB Conference Mic System. Great for meetings where you have multiple people in the room, this wireless mic is capable of 360 degrees of sound within a 10m radius. It’s easily placed anywhere without the hassle of cables, where it transmits to the paired wireless receiver at 2.4GHz. The low profile keeps it out of the way.

Movo VXR10-Pro mic

For video shooters, they have the VXR10 Pro mic – a small shotgun mic that’s made for DSLR and smartphone videos. It’s a step up from the VXR10 with a supercardioid pickup pattern and added features including:

  • Rycote Lyre shock mount
  • foam windscreen
  • deadcat
  • 2 cables (TRS for audio recorders or DSLR & TRRS for smartphones)

There’s a line out jack built into the mic for audio monitoring and no batteries are required to make it work.

If you need more than just a mic, they have a whole rig setup called the VXR10 Pro+. This kit has everything you need including light and sound – but of course you supply the phone. The kit includes:
