Did you know that coin batteries can cause burning if swallowed? This is distressing since children tend to chew and swallow everything in sight, especially smaller things like coin sized batteries.

Ultimate Child Shield is Energizer’s program to protect children from harmful effects should they accidentally get curious about putting such batteries into their mouths. In addition to making them taste bad, an expensive metal (titanium) is used to stop any burning reactions from happening.

Energizer says they’re the only company that offer such protection in the market today.
