Roccat Brand Discontinued – Gear to be Re-branded as Turtle Beach

The Roccat brand is officially discontinued.
The retirement was quietly “announced” on April 18, 2024 with the press release for new gear. You could plainly see all (previously-known-as) Roccat models re-badged under the Turtle Beach name.
We inquired with Turtle Beach about support & compatibility concerns for their Roccat customers. Here’s what we found out:
Website – Roccat.com is no longer active.
Downloads and support for Roccat products will be on https://www.turtlebeach.com
Firmware and Maintenance
SWARM (customization software) supported devices will continue with maintenance as usual – continue to check for and update firmware to fix any known issues.
NOTE: Typical product life cycles are 2-3 years so you can expect support for at least this long.
Will SWARM products be supported in Swarm II?
Yes, legacy products will be supported in Swarm II [eventually].
Will TalkFX also work in SWARM II?
Yes, we have it also integrated with Swarm II, which means the Easy-Shift cross devices function works between devices on Swarm I and Swarm II.
NOTE: TalkFX allows keyboard and mouse to “communicate” for Easy-Shift.
What’s Happening to the Roccat team in Germany?
They are continuing to make awesome peripherals as exemplified by the new keyboard and mouse [as per the press release].
Historically, Roccat was a German company founded in 2006 by ex-Razer guy, Renê Korte. It was acquired by Turtle Beach in 2019 for its innovative PC gaming peripherals.
