You can finally own a statue of Michael Keaton’s Batman as he makes an appearance in The Flash movie premiering June 16 of 2023. The statue itself (made by Kotobukiya) won’t be available until December of 2023, but it’s a great way to acknowledge the first Batman film from 1989 that Keaton starred in.

Batman is wearing his leather-like black costume in a standing pose. His eyes are glued to the sky with a batarang in his right hand and left leg on a step. You can see his eyes concentrating, his mind working out his next moves.

The costume has so much detail, with a long flowing cape, and cowl that seemingly flows right into that cape. The directional lines of his body armor align with the forearm gauntlets and combat boots, unifying the whole look. His utility belt is full, indicating his battle has yet to start and even the batarang details are pretty impressive. The biggest standout of course, is the Batman logo in yellow on his chest.

The base is modeled after the film and looks like a corner of a gray stone building.

The statue is part of Kotobykiya’s ArtFX category & sculpted in 1/6 scale (13.54″ / 344mm tall). Sculpted by Victor Hugo Sousa and released by Kotobukiya, the Japanese maker of high-end statues.
