For 2026 Loops Lab has created new bands, new characters and music upgrades for existing characters. There’s also an LED light that reacts to sounds.
To bring value to your already existing Loops Lab stage < https://firstl00k.com/toyfair-2025-loopslab/ >, they’ve added additional music to the Lax Funkers band (they’re the included band when you first buy the stage). The new music can be selected in the app.
There’s a new category of DJ characters called HedX that do sound effects for any band. Of the first 2 that are being introduced, the first simulates vinyl scratching while the second does EQ and filters.
Loops Solos are new stand-alone musicians. There are 7 of them, with each one playing a style of the 7 existing bands. But you don’t HAVE to use them only for matching bands; mixing them with any others also sounds good too! Here they are, with the band genre they match with:
- Maastika (Lax Funkers)
- Voco-D (8-BIT -Game music)
- Sleaki (Curly Lines -Neofunk)
- Kitsu (Dragosonic -Volcano Pop)
- Bacca (Fantasimo -Classical)
- Billie Five (Mountain Riders -Fusion)
- Bloop (Space Mariners -Galactic Rock)
A whole new band called Sticky Paws (to be available Spring of 2026) covers the bluegrass genre. There are 5 instrument-playing members; banjo, fiddle, guitar, washboard and double bass, plus a sixth Solos character that drums.
Finally, the LOOPS GLOW is a sound reactive LED party light that works almost like a level meter. The louder the sound gets, the more the light kicks from one end to the other. There are several light modes selected by push-button, plus game modes in the app for additional fun.
