See Your DIY Plan in Augmented Reality First with Plott Cubit @CE Week 2019

YouTube player

Plott‘s Cubit tool & AR (Augmented Reality) app shows you EXACTLY how your space will look before you install any fixtures!

Want to hang up some pictures? Scan them into the app and point your camera phone to where you want to hang them. Move the scanned pics around in the app until you’re happy with the placement – the Cubit tool will then show you where to drill the screws or nails without you measuring anything! It’s a great idea – no need to be a mathmatician (though you do need to know how to swing a hammer or use a drill.)

You can presumably use this tool to install anything small and large from light fixtures to bathtubs.

It’s won several innovation awards from CES and retails for $109 at the time of writing.
