Video: Essential Smartphone Lead Designer Talks PH-1 and 360 4K Camera

Essential’s lead designer talks about the new PH-1 smart phone and the why they did the “notch” around the camera. The phone uses titanium for added strength and has a ceramic back allowing for good transmission of radio signals, such as NFC and LTE bands to cell towers.

The 360 camera is their first accessory – it’s extremely small and and easily attaches via built-in magnets (no need to clip or match leads, it just attaches itself to the right place.)
