MSI GE75 Raider (Gaming) & PS63 Modern (Photo/Video) Laptops @Adorama Inspire 2019

MSI is one of my favorite brands as far as laptops are concerned. Today, they show us two:

GE75 Raider

Designed for gaming, this beast comes packed to the hilt with the latest technologies:

  • NVidia RTX GPU
  • Intel CPU up to i9
  • DYNAUDIO Giant Speakers
  • RGB Steel Series keyboard
  • 144Hz Refresh Rate
  • 3ms Response Time
  • Battery Life: 8 hours max
  • Dragon Center software control hub
  • Cooler Boost 5 (cooling system w/up to 8 heat pipes)

PS63 Modern

This laptop is specifically designed for content creators – the Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere people of the world. If you have anything to do with photography, or videography and video editing, this machine is right up your alley.

Fairly lightweight at under 4 lbs, the PS63 Modern can handle processor intensive programs and has a battery life lasting up to 16 hours. It’s also super thin (fitting a 15” display in a 14’ chassis) and has an enlarged trackpad (about 35% larger) for more precise control over your work.

The display has close to 100% SRGB color gamut with anti-glare coating, comes Quiet Mark Certified keeping noise down to a minimum and uses Cooler Boost 3 to maintain stable temperatures with 4 heat pipes and 4 exhausts.

Finally, their Creator Center software (similar to MSI’s gaming laptop’s Dragon Center) is your one stop shop for optimizing settings from designating the number of cores any program can utilize to minimizing all functions to save battery life.

I think I want one of these for the next time I upgrade.

Young

Young is like an onion - a Jack-of-many-trades with a "Let's do it!" attitude. He's lived/worked on several continents, but enjoys his current life in New York working around cameras and folding origami. He likes coffee, though he really should lay off that stuff. --- http://YoungFromNewYork.com
