Lenovo‘s new Yoga Chromebook is going premium with up to a 4K IPS screen at 15″ and an aluminum body. Memory goes up to 8GB with storage up to 128GB. It’s very pretty to look at and functions as a 2-in-1 laptop.

On to the power – the Thinkpad X1 Extreme has a carbon fiber body with an aluminum base to dissipate heat, but the biggest news is the option for a Core i9 processor. All this processing power is meaningless (for some of us) without a discrete GPU, and Lenovo provides an Nvidia GTX 1050TI.

The screen is a 4K IPS with SRGB color gamut, so this would make a great video editing/photo editing machine with some light gaming possibilities.

This much processing requires a huge amount of power that can only be satisfied by the provided charger, but for basic tasks, you can simply plug in a USB-C Thunderbolt cable instead.
