Cortica Artificial Intelligence (Pepcom 2018)

Cortica is an AI platform specialized for vertical industries that can’t use the “Deep Learning” method.

For example, a computer “Deep Learns” what a “cat” is by looking through 10,000 pictures of cats. But you can’t do the same for learning how to drive a car since you can’t show it all types of situations that might occur.

Cortica currently focuses on three industries:

• Autonomous Driving
• Smart City apps (Cameras and observation)
• Intelligent Drones

The company stresses that the intention of using this platform is for safety. It’s a fascinating look into a different method of AI learning.
